I love a good second chance at happiness, and this one was among the most interesting that I've read. I never in a million years could have seen this coming! Totally shocked to my core! There were so many twists and turns, surprises that came completely out of the blue.
Once again, LLV has put out a story that brings out all kinds of emotions. I was all over the place. One minute, I was sad, the next I was unbelievably angry, and then I had the warm fuzzies! It was fabulous! (I love a story that really gets my emotions going. So far, the Bear Bottom Guardians MC has really gone above and beyond, in that aspect!)
Wade is a police officer in Bear Bottom, a member of the BBGMC, and is still in love with his ex-wife. He isn't really sure why she's his ex, but knows that he screwed up, big time! So, he bides his time, waiting for his chance.
Landry is a woman who had a childhood that was beyond horrible. After escaping from a family who only viewed her as a means to an end, she thought she had finally found her HEA. Until her HEA wasn't so happy. Tired of never being put first, she takes things in her own hands and moves on with her life. And then things change again!
I loved Landry and Wade, and their story is one that I won't soon forget!
